Hi Jacques,

by accident I had something like that recently, and it had to do with the use
of - or _ in the zip names...

If I recall myself, we had a plugin call testplugin and I put it in
testplugin_0.1.1.zip (or testplugin-0.1.1.zip??).
When you try to install that QGIS could not find the plugin anymore after
installation...

So I thought to see if that was a bug, but then found out that if you upload
such a plugin to the official repo, the - or _ are stripped from the zip name...
So only because we worked with an internal website as repo (which did not strip
that stripes) we have that issue.

Maybe you have something like that too?

Regards,

Richard Duivenvoorde

Dear colleagues,

I have a problem with some plugins while installing them on windows. It happens
on windows 10 or 11. I get an error message saying that the archive seems to be
corrupted, whereas the same plugin/archive can be installed on linux.

I made the test on one of my plugin, IdentifProj. I get an error on  windows
11. If I extract the archive on windows and then create a new zip file, I can
now install it from this new archive. Did anyone has this kind of problem ?

Regards,

Jacques
