Greetings, This is to inform that a new QEP - https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/pull/342 - has been opened a few days ago aiming at adding a solid charts framework that relies solely on QGIS APIs focused on QgsSymbol/QgsTextRender rendering and print layout integration.
So far, the reception has been positive and the ongoing discussion super helpful. More comments are welcome here :) Mathieu
