Hi
With freshly compiled 1.0.0 PreviewII I noticed that qgis became
extremly slow on grass raster data.
With raster map of 4569 x 3616 every refresh operation (including adding
new vector element) take over 3 minutes. Any ideas on reasons? (or solution)

configuration:
Ubuntu 8.04 i386, grass 6.4.svn, gdal 1.5.3 with grass plugin
Qt 4.3.4
RAM 2GB, CPU AMD4800+
