Hi, there is no need to install any zip manually. First, check if there is the plugin installer available on the plugin list in menu Plugins -> Manage Plugins (the installer is a plugin too). If not, it means you have no python support installed. Go back to the Osgeo4win installer, advandced mode and ensure you have the 'qgis-python' component installed (in the 'libraries' category).
