Qgis version 1.3.0 Mimas, for Mac OS X 10.6, downloaded from http://www.kyngchaos.com/
I have done Save Project As... with Save absolute paths=No, meaning Save relative paths=Yes, several dozen times, but EVERY time when Qgis restarts with these relative paths in the project file, it is unable to find ANY of the layers. When I set Qgis -> File -> Project Properties... -> General -> Save absolute paths=Yes, Save Project As..., quit Qgis, and then restart Qgis with the project file, all is fine, all of the time. The paths are saved relative to what directory?
