I am using the following (linux Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic): $ apt-cache policy qgis qgis: Installed: 1.4.0-2~karmic2 Candidate: 1.4.0-2~karmic2 Version table: *** 1.4.0-2~karmic2 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net karmic/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.3.0-1~karmic9 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net karmic/main Packages $ apt-cache policy cups-pdf cups-pdf: Installed: 2.5.0-8ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.5.0-8ubuntu1 Version table: *** 2.5.0-8ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
and find that if I print to the cups-pdf printer from Print Composer with the settng Ansi A (Letter; 8.5x11 inches) (Landscape) the result is the image appears to be 8.5x8.5 inches. However, if I use the 'export as PDF' function, the image properly scales to the full 8.5x11 inches. It doesn't appear to be a cups-pdf issue as printing directly to my Canon MP750 results in the same 8.5x8.5 inches. Note: printing to the cups-pdf printer and Canon from all other applications works without issue. Is this a known issue? Any workarounds? _______________________________________________ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
