In windows (7 and Xp) when I open any points QGIS default theme shows me the shot points, with acceptable size but ... just open the window to create and / or modification of the issues, the dot size is set to 0.00000, and you can not change it. The version of QGIS is 1.5.0 It is not a problem of scale or projection!
