Hi, When I make a query to qgis mapserver, I get this: [Tue May 03 01:28:58 2011] [warn] [client 127.0.0.1] mod_fcgid: error reading data, FastCGI server closed connection [Tue May 03 01:28:58 2011] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Premature end of script headers: qgis_mapserv.fcgi [Tue May 03 01:29:03 2011] [error] mod_fcgid: process /usr/lib/cgi-bin/rhonealpes/qgis_mapserv.fcgi(24973) exit(communication error), get unexpected signal 11
I believe the later means the executable crashed. I compiled it from source (recent revision from trunk 1.7) on Kubuntu 11.04 64 bits. I configure it following Tim Sutton blog here: http://linfiniti.com/2010/08/qgis-mapserver-a-wms-server-for-the-masses/ If I modify my QGIS project by removing the password in the connection to the postgis database, I see the following in the apache error.log: username: password: credentials for dbname='mydatabase' host=127.0.0.1 port=5432 sslmode=disable message: fe_sendauth: no password supplied so somehow the fcgi runs. Any idea? I should mention that I could not have the symlinks work, so I copied the fcgi in /usr/lib/cgi-bin/myproject/ Thanks for any hint!
