Ok, a bit better.. Just reinstalled the 4.2 version of ERDAS SDK, copied 4dlls from redistributable to "osgeo4w/bin" Now from the shell gdalinfo --formats I can see the ECW extension.
Qgis now can load ecw (they are between its extension list), but if I try to open one of them Qgis crashes.. What could be the problem?
