Dear All,
AFAIK it is a general rule that walking along a polygon's edge in
digitizing direction the inside of the polygon is to the right, that
means that the polygon's exterior boundary ist to be digitized clockwise
(cw) and any hole counter clockwise (ccw).
When digitizing polygons in QGIS I can do it either cw or ccw, same for
holes. When working in a shape file saving a polygon digitized ccw the
boundary is reversed and the polygon thus corrrectly saved. If working
in a PostGIS layer the direction is saved as is, i.e. either cw or ccw.
Is this on purpose or a bug?
