Hello all,
I'm having a strange error on MacOS X Mountaint Lion (10.8.3) witha latest QGIS
1.8.0/2 (downloaded from KyngChaos repo).

I have a big project on which I've been working for long time, but suddenly I'm
having some problems on loading new data, both rasters and shapefiles.

Trying to loaf layers using Menu, QGIS simply craches. Dragging the shapefile
to the layers TOC I'having the following error: Error reading database file
from:
/Applications/QGIS.app/Contents/MacOS/../Resources/resources/srs.db
Because of this the projection selector will not work...

and then this:
Error reading database file from:
/Users/Jack/.qgis//qgis.db
Because of this the projection selector will not work...

Loading the same shapefile on a new project works perfectly. I tried to create
a new project and the error came back.

The hole project, does work correctly on another MacOS (10.6.8) and on Win PC.

I've also tried to remove QGIS and reinstall it; delete user and preferences
folders (following this guide:
http://press.underdiverwaterman.com/clean-install-of-qgis-in-osx/) but my
problem is still there.

Any help will be much appreciated,
thank you
