Thanks for the tip, but no improvement. On the contrary: layers do not fit 
anymore (even if they’re all in the same CRS), and no scaling to data at all.
QGIS is GREAT, but sometimes a mystery to me.

Hi Joris:
Try to deactivate 'on the fly' CRS transformation. When it's activated, 
calculated areas are wrong... perhaps it also cause your issue. Please confirm 
this and tell us.

I have a point layer, Style is data driven, but when I want a radius of 500 map 
units (meter), the map shows me a radius of 72.
What can I be doing wrong?
