So for a working QGIS and the GRASS that comes with it, just so I am clear:

1. Install GDAL 1.11
2. Install NumPy (included in the GDAL download, per the GDAL Readme)
3. Install Matplotlib Python 1.3.1-2
4. Install QGIS 2.6.1-2

Thanks -- Steven
