I have a project with several SQL Server layers and in QGIS version 2.6 it takes +/- 15 seconds to open but in 2.8 it takes about a minute and 30 seconds. Has anyone else had this issue or can anyone think of where I might start to troubleshoot this issue? Windows 7 OS, SQL Server 2012 is running on a Windows Server 2008 machine.
