Hi Richard, In Mapinfo there is a similar functionality but not across multiple layers. TAB file supports multi geometry so when you move a node in common between a line and a polygon from the same layer for example, it moves both in one go.
Both the one in MI and the one you mentioned are very useful functionalities and good additions to the core digitising maybe.
