If every Accident has an ID for location you can use the group stats
plugin to summarize the # of wrecks in each location. You could then
save that out to a text file and join it to a point layer and get the
graduated symbol you are after.
If not - I'm thinking you set a very small buffer in each location and
then use the Points in Polygon tool under vector -> analysis (I think).
Good Luck, We're all counting on you!

Hi,
I'm having trouble working out what should be a simple problem.
I have data that lists all the traffic accidents in our local area.
Each accident has a unique ID, but there can be many accidents at the
one location.
I want to show the accumulated accident numbers using a graduated
symbol size based on the count of accidents at that one spot.
Underdark's excellent blog post describes how to use the new features
in QGIS 2.10 - using a range from a single attribute. What I want QGIS
to do is to add up the incidents for a specific location.
My brain hurts and I can't think how to do this. Can someone help?
