Hi Richard, Thank you for you answer. QGIS works fine on Centos 7. I am not looking to change the OS.
I am investigating if the rpms can be installed in a directory that I can choose. I have run Linux command: rpm -qpi filename.rpm | grep Relocations for each qgis rpm and all are not relocatable. So it seems this is not possible. It would be nice if you can package all 59 rpms to installed in a location at user choice.
