Hello List,
Is there a
geo-processing tool to split polygon features in one layer using lines or
polygons in another layer? It is important that the new features
remain in their original layer, just split into two.
This would
be much like the
fTools Plugin called Split Feature except using lines already
existing in another layer. I don't want the output in another layer
which then has to be copied and pasted back to the original.
I have
hunted through the advanced toolbox with no luck yet, although maybe what
I need is hiding in there somewhere.
Thanks very much
for any help, Cheers . . . . . . . . Springfield Harrison
