Nicholas; I wasn't going to install Anaconda I never used it; I only ever used Python27 installed with ArcGIS and QGIS. But I could not solve the issue so I just installed a new Python in the C:\Python27 dir. How does Anaconda and Python/IDLE differ? Tyler
