Hi I just installed QGIS 2.18.10 and have found that I am receiving an error message when trying to copy features from a PostGIS layer into a shapefile. The error is:
'Errors: ERROR: 1 feature(s) not added - geometry type is not compatible with the current layer.' My shapefile geometry type is polygon and the PostGIS layer is a multi-polygon, but in previous versions I was able to copy features fine. Does this mean this is no longer possible? When creating a new shapefile in QGIS there isn't the option to specify whether the polygon is a multipolygon or not, so not too sure how I would be able to do this? Thanks, Chris
