Somehow, your QGIS is not able to download the plugin. This means
something with your internet connection prevents it from doing so
(because I just verified that the link from your own log message works
for me here, so we cannot blame the QGIS plugin repository server).

Let's investigate...

1. Can you download this link from your browser?
http://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/openlayers_plugin/version/1.4.3/download/

If yes, it means your browser can download the plugin (through the same
internet connection).
If no... you'll have to find out why (or download it somewhere else and
do some manual steps)...

Anyway, so if yes you were able to download it: A common difference
between QGIS and your browser is the "proxy". Check the proxy settings
in your browser (depends on your particular browser, use your favorite
search engine...) and then read the following link:

https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/25188/how-to-access-qgis-plugin-repositories-from-behind-a-proxy

Good luck :)
