Hi Carlos, Comments are not saved in the project, they are just retrieved from databases.
E.g. Postgres: COMMENT ON COLUMN my_table.my_column IS 'Employee ID number'; It's a usability issue with QGIS 2.18 that the column is editable in the layer properties, it should be read only. Sidenote: That's not something that couldn't be changed in a future version, maybe it could be also discussed with the metadata team if there's something ready for this already.
