Dear community, we are QGIS (GIS) teachers at the University of Presov (Eastern Slovakia). We are Open Source fans and now we have become a great opportunity from World Bank which wants to help us to create a GIS department based on Open Source GIS technologies and Open Spatial Data Infrastructure in Presov Self-governing Region (NUTS 3; 600,000 inhabitans).
At the moment we are creating a team and searching people who have experience with the deployment of this kind of infrastructure in regional self-government. We need people who help us with the implementation and training of our staff. Project is funding by World Bank.
