Hi Micha, i've been doing some testing this week, i couldn't reproduce the issue adding a new gpkg to an old project. What i have noticed is that starting the user session using Xorg completely removes the crashes, I'm still seeing some random QGIS lock-ups but i couldn't find any hint of what is causing it. I will continue using xorg and see if i can find what's going on.
Cheers!
