Hi Ken,

My issue is actually geocoding, but if that has ties with raster resampling can
you explain the connection?

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Ken,

It can be any of the three problems, but, since you are following orders,
let's assume that it's not your error.

I would start guessing that the documentation may be outdated. And it may
not be a question of 3.4 vs 3.8, but really outdated information even for
3.4.

This being said, can I ask you to open qgis-documentation bug tickets,
whenever you find problems in the documentation?

Thanks,

Alexandre Neto

I have been using Global Mapper on Windows
for 15+ years. I am now on Linux Mint.

I want a simple viewer that can open multiple
Geo Tiff files (just 1 to 4 7.5' topos), copy
cursor coordinates to the clipboard, zoom to
coordinates passed to the program, and perhaps
measure linear distance. Something simple and
fast. For more complicated things I usually
use QGIS or GoogleMaps, or sometimes even Google
Earth.

I'm going to try OpenEV real soon. The last
time I used it on Windows (10+ years ago) I did
not like it much, but it did work.

I welcome suggestions you may have.

Mike

Hi Alexandre, Ken,

I would like to second this opinion and first thank you very much for
bringing this subject up.

If you are fine with it, please follow Alexandre Neto's approach and add
new issues (one per issue you encounter) here:
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation/issues<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__github.com_qgis_QGIS-2DDocumentation_issues&d=DwMFaQ&c=lDF7oMaPKXpkYvev9V-fVahWL0QWnGCCAfCDz1Bns_w&r=TmYSpBfwrgrRQcQDq3L36UrSGksWDtiBtFQLcjbiSN0&m=sgdWeoKsCHjfrt2qgKgmNCe9QsT4KatbF-FQ5pJcfq0&s=xotfy3UsTX-oOivkeIuQDlmvfOKCA-0_RRpWf4Hz2go&e=>

There we can help you (figure out what's wrong) and update the
documentation for everyone else too.

Thanks again

Matthias

Googmornig,
I have a problem in the section graduate( symbology--->graduate).
I want to scaling data from 0 to 0.9 in ten step, but when i put in the
cases a range from 0.0 to 0.1 (or 0.1 to 0.2 etc) the system transforms
the range from 0 to 1.000000 (or 1.000000 to 2.000000).
I have rinstalled the program and now i have the 3.10 , but I have the
same problem . I have also tested my shape file in an another computer and
the approximation works.
How it is possible?? What could be the problem?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi all, I would like to find the contour line in a dem at the inflection point
of the slope. I mean, I would like to know at which height the terrain is
changing from convex to concave. I found plugins which calculate if a specific
cell is convex or concave in relation to its neighbours in a 3 x 3 raster. But
I would like to know it for a specific terrain.Does anyone has an idea?Regards
Patrick

Dear all,

I would like to use OSGeo Shell for the resampling of a list of rasterfiles.

The files are in tiff-format and I want to use a resampling method with
a gauss filter.

I would like to have a batch file with multiple lines where the first
one looks somehow like this:

gdalwarp r-cubic of GTiff input.file output.file

This would work, but I would like to enhance the cubic filtering with an
information to steer the

radius of filtering like GRA_Gauss = 7.

Kind regards

Dieter

Hi everyone,

I just installed QGIS 3.10 on my work machine yesterday, and am wondering where
the geocoding tool is? Can someone tell me where it is?

Thanks,

Scott
