Hi Enock,

Quickly, I think that I would first reclassify the NDVI raster, based on
the class you deem appropriate, and then make a raster statistic.

If you know the size of the pixel, and the number of pixels that each class
has, you could calculate the area that each class occupies.

If you want something simpler, reclassify the raster, vectorize it and
calculate the surface of each class of the vector layer.
