Hi, It would be possible, though it would depend on the raster and the bands (Red, Green, Blue, NIR etc..)you have available. It could be possible to use raster Classification to map these features, though I believe you would have quite a lot of false positives, due to shadowing, surface finish changes..etc.. If you where to look at it I would recommend the Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin
