I tried a sample run but it failed:
"TAG field in layer Tree Table All 2 PntType has different data type
than in other layers (String instead of integer)
Execution failed after 1.20 seconds"
It looks like it can't handle differing data types and won't offer
choices for merging fields. I wonder if there are other tools?
