Hello all, I am looking for a way to further protect the access to the stored authentication credentials in the authentication manager.
As far as I can see, currently the master password is requested once per QGIS session and then never again while QGIS remains open. What I am looking for is a setting - or something similar - where the master password is always requested when accessing a stored connection in the authentication manager. Or if this is more easily achievable - after a certain time - the master password is requested again. The reason behind this is that I want to disable the possibility that a third party/user can access stored passwords while QGIS is running and the authentication database has already been unlocked. If there is no such thing, would it be possible to achieve something like this in Python via the API? Many thanks for any hints Frank _______________________________________________ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
