Hi, You may look at the configuration in the PostGIS connection config in QGIS (see screenshot https://labs.webgeodatavore.com/partage/postgis_connection_qgis_config.png). Sometimes, you may set "prefer" or another conf among the drop down choices visible on the screen capture to solve this type of issue.
