generaly people upgrade as far as they can, but I agree that 10.12 is
odd, vs 10.11 or 10.13, both of which are terminal on various hardware,
due to apple deciding that old equipment should go to recycling.

I wonder if 3.32 requires. that, or if it is merely the provided binary
build that does.
