I will need a 1.3 stabilization release too with some upcoming libraries 
and extensions bugfixes. That's something I could handle "in-house" but 
an official release would be far better.

So definetely a +1 for a 1.3 stabilization release.

I feel it scary and exciting at the same time:-)

"Scary" because my main application that will need a release before 
september is using develop branch.
"Exciting" because reading recent posts gave me the feeling that things 
are going in an interesting direction.
