Hello Amanda,

- concerning the Free Engine limit: apparently the limit
has indeed shrunk since v4.3, I can't explain why: probably
a test or a wrong move. We are going to restore to a value
   closer to 1 Gb.

- that the absence of an eval key could make queries wrong
is a useful observation, but I can't see a relationship:
The size limit would normally just prevent uploading documents
(with an exception). It does not influence queries in principle.

*** would it be possible to get your database (the one that fail) ?
If you can upload it somewhere where I can retrieve it:
I suppose it would be around 200 Mb in size, which is manageable.

Thanks
