Certainly, we know of real life applications with more than 100,000,000  
documents.

First thing, obviously, increase the max memory size:
by default Qizx Studio is configured with 200 Mb.
You can change it by modifying the qizxstudio or qizxstudio.bat file
On Unix you can also lauch it with a command like:
        VMOPTS=-Xmx500m qizxstudio ...

Now it seems surprising that so much memory is used:
could you please send me privately your script?
