Self-inflicted wound... One of the installs had regressed the JDK to an earlier version (1.5), causing Class Not Found errors.
JDK now jdk1.7.0_03. Working fine now. PS this is the 32-bit JDK (on Windows 7) - I assume that's right? regards Roy MacLean| Technical Writer | T: +44 20 7562 7777 | M: +44 7956 474 911 | Dovetail | 51 Moorgate, London, EC2R 6BH, UK | The information in this email is for the sole use of the intended recipients(s). It was working fine two days ago, but now when I try to connect, I get the error: HTTP ERROR: 503 Problem accessing /qizx/apidemo/. Reason: Service Unavailable ________________________________ Powered by Jetty:// It's not a database error, because it happens also on a newly created database. I've also tried changing the port number. I've had various software installs (e.g. Oracle) on my machine in the last day or so - but I can't see what that would affect. Any ideas please? /Roy MacLean Dovetail Roy MacLean| Technical Writer | T: +44 20 7562 7777 | M: +44 7956 474 911 | Dovetail | 51 Moorgate, London, EC2R 6BH, UK | The information in this email is for the sole use of the intended recipients(s).
