That's not strictly true. We've all been lucky so far.
Most cameras use CF cards in the ATA emulation mode, but a few cameras use
CFs in the simulated memory mode. I know a couple of olympus cameras that
do this, and some of the generic cameras do too.
It's always good to check the camera accesses the CF in the ATA IDE mode
first ;)
