Just means you have a relatively 'clean' PC system, with no obvious
accumulated clutter. Probably a reasonably new PC.

People quickly forget what applications and uses they have put a PC
through ... not all applications use accepted protocols.

I assume XP and Service Pack 2 are cleaning up an OS that has had many
leaks in the past ... but then again I could be wrong :-)

The network server at work now has XP Professional installed, whereas
previously it was Windows 2000 Professional.

Apart from having to re-establish my password it appears to have made no
difference.

Well, it would appear that our QLing has become too reliable. So many issues
raised here recently seem to be about overcoming PC problems to reliably run
QDOSMSQ. (and trying to find ways to bring threads back on topic!)

I guess it is just the nature of emulators that there is a lot of discussion about the platform that they run on too ...

I have 2 old PC's which both have QPC on them, the first on its own hard drive and the second on a zip drive, that can be shared.

I guess other users have similar creative and complicated set ups too ... :-)
