We also have 2 QL systems that are in need of your tender loving care :-) ... one is a small PC tower cased system based around a Gold Card, and the other is a Pandora system.
Both have hard drive problems, more the connection chain than the drives themselves. We have had both working, only for them to fail again the next time they are used.
Best bring them to Byfleet or QL2004
