For computer safety (and security) reasons I'm using Opera 100% at home. Supposedly Opera is the browser that is closer to adhering to the HTML standards. It is fully supported and being updated. I believe Mosaic is no longer being updated. I've also heard of Konquerer. On a Slashdot poll it scored close to Mozilla and Firebird in percentage used (where as Opera only hit at about 3%).

I think that, as far as browsers go, there are only three modern/maintained browsre engines around at this moment.

1. IE
2. Opera
3. Mozilla

The Mozilla browser has an engine called Gecko, with a XUL interface which uses Gecko at its core. Many other browsers like Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape navigator etc use either of these engines for all the rendering. Konquerer (linux) is also one of those, as is Camino (Mac). Camino uses Gecko only (not XUL), not sure about Konguerer.
