Thanks a lot, but unfortunately, it does not work. The so patched XChange 
just gave one line output (as before, when I tried setting the driver to 0 
number of lines, so nothing has changed in printing). Mysteriously, the 
white borders appeared to write in the screen directly again (Maybe it is a 
switch, so it is now as before patching with your first patch.).

Ok, I'll try to explain a bit better8-):
Usually, in every printed output under the Psion programs, the number of 
lines per page depend on what you have set in the printer driver. Archive is 
the exception, as this has a programming language, the number of lines set 
in the printer driver is ignored. You have to FF on your own in your Archive 
running program. This works with any stand-alone Archive but not with the 
XChange Archive. For unknown reasons, XChange Archive does not ignore the 
set number of lines in the printer driver. It always issues an FF after the 
set number of lines have been printed. This is a bug. It is ok for Quill, 
but not for Archive.
