Hi Malcolm,

I have set the paper and ink colors via WM_xxx keywords to a fixed grey
and tried that with a lot of themes, which looked ok. My fault: I only
have used Marcels new "golden fading cursor" so haven't tested it with
SMSQ/E's native cursor (which, IMHO looked a bit awful, ie when used the
SBasic ED, I have tried that)

The problem: The MC routines for "output to a channel" used hard coded
ink values for block and -non-block ink. This was written a very long
time ago. Now, as I have changed the window color to grey, I have set
the ink color to black, as the former white ink isn't very readable in
this case. I have to look, what I can do there. BTW: How is this with
QD?

Thank you anyway for yor response 8-)!

Cheers...Ralf R.

.......
Would it be possible to make the INK and PAPER configureable  in the
"config" ?

The default choice of a pale grey, with a pale blue cursor, I don't find

easy to see.  Especially finding the cursor position.
.......
