There are some file recovery utilities on my website
http://www.dilwyn.uk6.net/files/index.html

1. Floppy Disk Utils (FDU) from Ergon Development

2. Media Manager SE sources from Chas Dillon (if conversant with
writing own basic programs, this may well help you write your own)

3. Recover (Archive databases)

4. RecoverQ

5. RecoverX (for QXL.WIN systems)

6. ResQL

7. Rettunge

If interested in finding some more info about the QL disk format, you
will find it documentedin some older QL disk interface manuals (e.g.
the one for the Technology Research TRL128/Delta interface), there's
also Dave Walker's guide on my documentation website:

http://dilwynjones.topcities.com/qldocs/qldocs.html

Hope there's something there to help. And don't forget if anyone wants
manuals for older disk interfaces, I have several on my QL
Documentation CD, including a 'generic' one suitable for most older
disk interfaces conforming to the Tebby/QJump standards - I think
these were on the QL Today CD which contained most of the
Documentation CD content.
