More like M$ thinking that they can rule the software world ... well 
they do, don't they ... :-)

It is a work requirement, for me, that I use M$ software everyday .....

When I used WordPerfect it was always much more tolerant of recognising 
other formats.  I assume that Star Office and Open Office, to name two, 
are also prone to tolerance too ?
