The adverse weather conditions have prevented us from finalising
arrangements for the QUANTA AGM and Workshop for April this year.
However arrangements are in hand and the latest information we have is
as follows:
QUANTA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2010 AND WORKSHOP
Date: Sunday 18th April 2010
Opening at 9.00am for setting up and at 10.00am to all members and
visitors. The Annual General meeting will start at 3.00pm
Venue: ‘FIRCONE’, 1237, Stratford Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, B28 9AA
This is a Birmingham Retirement Centre, which I intended to visit today
on my way back from Northampton, but weather conditions have prevented
my journey. Our contact, Mrs Tate, says that the building is single
story with a large car park. There are plenty of power points around the
hall. There is a small kitchen, suitable for making teas, coffee and
making sandwiches. There are plenty of tables and chairs available.
The centre is on the A34 and marked ‘Fircone’.
Hall Green railway station is 3 minutes walk away.
There are numerous buses along the road which passes the venue.
I shall visit the centre before the Feb/March 2010 magazine is finalised
and report back. Maps etc will also be provided.
We hope to see as many QLers as possible at this event.
