If anyone is looking for a fairly basic and cheap little netbook, IJT
direct (better known for inkjet cartridges) are currently selling the
"Allfine" netbook with 7 inch 800x480 display complete with Windows CE
(OK, I know....) for just under 80 pounds.
Weight only 650grams, ARM 920 32bit processor, expandable with SD card
expansion slot, two USB slots, 10/100 ethernet, headphone/line in
sockets and built in speakers.
A quick look suggests that apart from Windows CE, it is fairly similar
to the EeePCs which were popular a little while back. These are
available in black, white, pink and green (green??????)
If any of the QL emulators can run on Windows CE, it might make a
useful little mobile QL/Windows computer for someone - at just 80
pounds seems too good to be true somehow!
