Hi, I posted on this last a few years ago. I am in the processing of completing a build of a new PC. One check I use is to see how many bogomips I can get from QPC2. On my last system Windows XP, Core 2 duo 2.4Ghz, 2 GB RAM etc I got around the 150 bogomips level, just less than a Q60 68060 80MHz 48MB with manages 156.
With the new PC QPC2 finally trounces 1998 QL type hardware emulation achieving 220 bogomips. PS is Core i7 3.09GHz, 6GB RAM Windows 7. QPC2 version is the same 3.33.
