Congrats to you Dave& your other(better?) half btw, hope you have a long and
happy one

Does anyone know anything about the Medic interface boards for the QL, I have
just acquired one but do not know if its working or not, haven't connected it
up yet but it seems to have interface connections for HD and FD. I assume it
Medic although I haven't found any distinguishing marks?

A lot. I was conned into buying one and it arrived (like all of them) sans case. I travelled to Basingstoke to pick one up when I heard they had arrived. Skoglund was there with his long haired dogs. There was a battery of maybe 12 QLs copying the free games. There were two dustbins full of cartridges from owners!

No - only floppy drive and a parallel printer port.
The floppy lead was special as the board takes its power from the floppy drive - 4 connections at one end. Very very dodgy, especially as the lead they provided did not have the orientation piece.

You clearly have an uncased version as there is "Medic" on the case.
It is a very snazzy case matching the QL design.

I have a circuit diagram.

Skoglund ended up in jail for conning customers about his hard disk.
He advertised it and there was a picture ..... of a black box.
