François,

I have not had the opportunity to test Hermes (because I don't have one) only
superHermes, but I have every reason to believe that it will work just as well,
especially if it's using the same driver code. Tony can probably give some
insight on the performance of the Hermes vs superHermes.

I plan to offer complete built and tested units through Memory Lane Computing,
provided there is a demand (and, obviously, if we can get this driver
satisfactorily through beta testing).

If anyone is interested in a built unit please send an e-mail to
sa...@memorylanecomputing.com giving your details and we'll get back to you on
likely availability and price.

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

After reading the manual I have one question:

You are talking about the maximum baud rate supported on standard QL (4800) and
Superhermes (57600). But what about a QL with an Hermes chip (not superhermes,
just hermes). Do you think 19200 baud would work?

Is there any plan for someone to sell the device, comlete with cable ?

François
