Quanta is being very shy at the moment. If you are curious go to the
penultimate item of the Just Words! news page.

Remember where you heard it first!
You shouldn't open PDF files in your own frame. Let them open in a new,
separate browser window.

Cheers...Ralf
A lot of people do not like having to separately download a PDF file, (etc
...), when browsing a web site. Which may be why Geoff has done it within own
frame.

Better still, is to convert the PDF or Word file, etc, to HTML; and then view
it as a web page.

Ouch - the html files Word produces I would not recommend to anyone - they are
bloated and very obscure code.

… but I have not found *any* pdf files on the site.

Tony
Hi Tony,

Does anyone use Word for HTML's?

I agree with your sentiments absolutely.
However when one gets given a complex word file each week for my church's
website it is the only practicable way when the designer *demands* html (8-(#

It works but is horrendous code.

Tony

Does Open/Libre Office do any better as that is the one I use?
