It was a long long time ago now when I made my 23 partition backup disk, but I
am pretty sure partition_exe can do that.

I don't think Phil Borman ever wrote suitable user tools for this.
I know he won't want to stay up most of the night rescuing it, as he did at
least once for the QBBS hard disk.
However he might have some hints.
